Special Guests; We are hoping to welcome Breton dancers and musicians from Saltash’s twin town, Plougastel, but at the time of going to press this has not been confirmed. They have performed at previous May Fairs and enjoyed themselves tremendously, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that they will be able to join us.
Miner’s Quay; Originally formed by members of Polperro Male Voice Choir and local folk musicians, this mixed choir sing a range of Cornish folk songs and sea shanties, to add a wonderful touch of culture to our festivities. They will be performing in Victoria Gardena and at the Art Fair in Wesley Church (free entry!) during the afternoon. If they are enjoying themselves, they have been known to extend their stay with impromptu performances-given a little encouragement.
